Young guns
Decided that I liked punishment so I met up again last night with Kim Gillards group. The menu featured 6 x 1 minute with a minute float in between.
The idea was to run out and back turning after the 3rd float and see how close you got to the starting point at the end. The run obviously ended with a float and I missed the starting point by about 50 metres. Close but no cigar. Very tough session though.
Still, I felt good and thats all that matters right now.
I have now put together 12 days straight which is the most in a very long time. Best of all, I am feeling stronger everyday.
Kim is coaching a group of junior runners and theres some serious talent there. One dude just set a State junior record for his age group over 300om, and 2 others have run close to 2 minutes for 800. All are 17 or younger. Young guns.
Easy 40 minutes tonight at Heritage Forest and apart from feeling a little tired all is good.
