My little man Jack had his first hit out at the Track last night and it looks like he wont be a sprinter anytime soon. The whole concept of staying in your lane went out the window quick smart.
He did however run across the track from Lane 8 to Lane 1, and once the results of the drug test come back hopefully the IAAF will ratify his effort as a new WORLD RECORD for his age group (Under 11 months)!!!!!!!!!! Yes, the boy can move!
Robbie did her best to jog a lap and then called it quits! Oh well, at least she did something.
I jogged around the Country Club Golf Course tonight and felt a little sluggish. Obviously lacking some fitness after the dramas of the past month or so. On a positive note, my calf felt very good.
Hopefully over the next few months I can get some consistency in my training and build up a base for the Summer track season.
