10, 9, 8, 7, 6..........

Counting down to all systems go!!!

Another 20 minutes at the Track tonight and felt very good.

Threw in a couple of 200's for good measure and ran them faster than I thought. 29.5 & 31.5 in trainers. Both felt very easy with some left in the tank.

If all is well tomorrow then it all systems go from now on.

20 days now until the Launceston 10 and at this stage I will have a crack at it but I am not expecting anything special. No long runs or speed work for a while so I have no idea where I am at fitness wise. I guess there is only one way to find out.

I noticed in the Herald Sun today that this years Melbourne Marathon finishes on the MCG. I given that its 2 weeks before the Burnie 10, I might enter the 10km event as a warm up, afterall, that too finishes on the 'G. Got to be happy about that!!!!

Cheers

AW
